The first story I saw this morning when I opened up my web browser was the "shocking" news that Ashlee Simpson is expecting a baby. I don't really think I need to say anything more about this, but the heart in me wishes them the best, even though I am trying hard to stifle an eye roll (mostly over the way the media always handles stuff like this).
I am super excited about Disney World's American Idol experience, even though I don't really know what all it entails. But it gives me a reason to go back to my favorite theme park. Next year the Harry Potter theme park is supposed to open at Universal, so now I have two reasons to make vacation plans.
Speaking of Harry Potter I found this story today that J.K. Rowling wrote a prequel to the series that will be auctioned off. For some reason it just irks me somewhat. I mean she already wrote "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" which only like 10 people in the world get to see and now this. It's being auctioned off for charity, which just makes this whole paragraph sound really jerky. I'm sorry.
Jason Mraz is one of my favorite artists and I love his music, but I laughed when I saw this today. Avocado farmer? I have to commend this writer on the (somewhat short) article because it definitely stands out from the crowd of the typical interview with a musician. Plus, we get a recipe to try!
TV audiences have dropped out since American Idol ended apparently. Or I think that's what this means? I kinda got lost after the listing started in paragraph four. I can't say I haven't jumped on that bandwagon. My TV hasn't seen so much downtime since it was stored away before I moved.
